Susan smoked in the shower the morning of December third. She usually thought it to be a paradox, smoking while cleaning herslef. That Wednesday, she smelled the citrus of her body wash with a certain clairty she never had, she half understood why she could smell the bright scent. She was so used to the stink of the smoke that the soap smelled sweet and welcoming.
She towled herself and smiled in the mirror. She felt awake and refreashed.
